Here’s everything you need to know to log in, join a challenge, and make the most of your experience.
How to Log In & Get Started
If you haven’t downloaded Wellness Coach yet, you’ll need to do that first and create your account to join the challenge.
Via Web:
- Click here to access Wellness Coach web app.
- Enter your first name, last name, and email.
- Check your inbox and insert the verification passcode.
- You’ll be redirected to the home screen.
Via Mobile Device:
- Download the Wellness Coach app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and enter your first name, last name, and email.
- Check your inbox and insert the verification passcode.
How to Join a Challenge
There are two ways you can join a challenge:
Option 1: Your company will share a link, QR code, or flyer to help you join the challenge.
- Scan the QR code or click “Join Now” (this takes you directly to your company's challenge).
- Tap Join Challenge inside the app.
- Sync your health app to track your activity:
- Open the Wellness Coach app > More > Activity Trackers
- Select your health app of choice.
Option 2: You can also find your company’s challenge directly in the app by:
- Go to the Challenges section on the home screen.
- Tap View All to see available challenges.
- Tap Join to get started!

Challenge Overview
Want to know more about the challenge you’ve joined? It’s easy! Simply tap on the Challenge Overview tab within any challenge to access all the important details in one place. You’ll always find:

Community Chat Boxes
Every challenge includes a chat where you can:
Connect with teammates
Cheer each other on with emojis & GIFs
Share photos of your activities or wellness moments
Team-Based Challenges
If you’re in a team-based challenge (where teams within your company are competing against each other), you’ll have two chat boxes::
- Team Chat: Connect and strategize with your own team, share updates, and celebrate wins together!
- Company Chat: Join the conversation with everyone participating in the challenge across your company. Share motivation, photos, and enjoy friendly competition!
Share the Challenge!
- Tap the share icon in the challenge overview.
- Copy the link and invite others.
- More participants = More fun & motivation! 🚀
Notifications
Set up daily challenge reminders to stay on track! (Make sure notifications are turned on in your app settings.)
Syncing Health Data
To participate in Steps and Movement Challenges, you need to sync your health data for automatic tracking. Follow these steps:
- Open the Wellness Coach app > More > Activity Trackers
- Select your health app of choice and approve permissions.
- Automatic Updates: Your steps, activities, and minutes will update automatically.
For Content Challenges (e.g., Mindfulness & Wellness), simply complete the sessions directly in the app. They will be counted automatically!
Leaderboards
Leaderboards are designed to help you track your progress and see where you stand within the challenge.
Company Challenge:

You’re competing as an individual against everyone else in your company.

A single leaderboard displays your personal ranking, total minutes/steps, and overall standing.
Team Challenge:

You’re competing as part of a team within your company. Two leaderboards are displayed:

Team Leaderboard: Shows how your team ranks against other teams.

Individual Leaderboard: Shows your personal ranking within your team

How Steps Averaging Works
When calculating the average of daily steps for a challenge, the process is based on:

Total Steps: All steps taken by active participants divided by the total number of active participants.

Active Participants: Those who have synced their steps at least once during the challenge.
Challenge Stats Overview
This page shows how you're progressing in the challenge!
- My Progress: Your total minutes logged
- Current Leader: The top participant’s total minutes
- Average Minutes: The average minutes logged by everyone
- Overall Total: The combined minutes from all participants
Daily Graph
- Track how many minutes you completed each day
- Compare your progress with the leader (green) and the average (purple)
